Hand-dug archaeology for RedM/VORP. Find a site out in the world, brush the soil back, and free the fossil from the rock without wrecking it.

Overview

Players find dig sites in the world, hold a prompt, and play a custom NUI excavation minigame. Brush the soil away to expose what is buried, then deal with the rock it is set into — soak it and work it clear, or take the chisel to it and risk chipping the bone. How cleanly you work sets the quality of what you recover.

Features

• 40 surveyed dig sites — hand-placed across all five regions: dig sites, bone piles, carcasses and points of interest.
• Custom excavation minigame — brush, soak and chisel, rendered in NUI. You get fewer safe soaks than there is rock, so every dig is a decision rather than a wait.
• 20 fossils and relics — trilobites, ammonites, mammoth tusks, raptor teeth and petrified wood, alongside older human leavings like a tarnished coin or a rusted bear trap.
• Three quality tiers — poor, good and pristine, decided by how carefully the player works. Quality and find both ride in item metadata, so you can price them in tiers.
• Completion trophy — a mounted skull granted once per character for excavating every site.
• Optional tool economy — an excavation brush and chisel that wear down with use, giving whoever sells them a recurring customer. Off by default; one setting turns it on.
• Optional job lock — restrict digging to specific VORP jobs and grades, or leave it open to everyone.
• Configurable re-digging — sites reopen after a cooldown you set, or lock to one dig per character forever.

What is escrowed

Client and server Lua are encrypted via Cfx.re asset escrow. config.lua, the item SQL and the documentation stay open, so you can move sites, retune the dig and set your own rewards.
